NAT2021
NAT2021Is an azimuthally anisotropic S-wave tomographic model of the North Atlantic region computed using waveform tomography. It is computed from a database of over 1.2 million vertical-component waveform fits. It samples the crust, upper mantle and mantle transition zone, with a lateral grid spacing of 120 km.
Images of the model can be viewed and downloaded from the widget to the left.
In the model distribution linked below, you will find:
- The model file containing the full model the North Atlantic Region;
- A readme file explaining the format details and how to view it;
- A fortran program to interpolate the model at any depth;
- The gmt colour palette used to plot the model in our publications;
